Music for the dying....
music for the dying, a page recording my favorite music and bands.... nothing fancy, sorry.
i thought i would waste some space and share with the world
some of my favorite artists and bands... first on the list and first man in my world musically speaking
is the grandaddy of all good things, david bowie.... ah, the memories.. going back to my childhood days
when "let's dance" was on the radio and labyrinth was a child's dream... i grew up listening to bowie, with
every allowance saved, a new bowie album.... i can't even describe his music, space oddity, ziggy stardust, the thin
white duke... on and on, this man will never die..
ok, enough ranting... next is joy dvision, the first so called "goth" band i ever listened to, bauhaus being
a close second.... ian curtis died the same year i was born, so i kinda missed the whole boat when it came to
their fame and demise... but i love them all the same....
then siouxsie and the banshees.... i always wanted to look like siouxsie, but i never had much luck in that
area.. heehee.
the smiths, what can i say? how soon is now?
the cure was a biggie when i was growing up as well, especially when i was in my first couple years of
high school.... i discovered a new way to be depressed.
then came nine inch nails.... i remember when broken came out, whenever that was... i wasn't very interested
at first, i was surviving the whole "grunge" thing at the time... but when downward spiral came out, i bought it, swallowed it
down, and got sick, but a comforting type of sick.. and i've been addicted ever since...
